Japanese traditional breakfast

 Breakfast in Japan comes in two major variations ; Japanese style and Western style . Nowadays , younger prefer to have Western style breakfast , because it is more convenient and less time consuming than Japanese style .

These are all necessary , what is the raw egg used for ? The raw egg is mixed with rice to make golden colored , this is called tamago kake gohan .

Western style breakfast is similar to US. Children often eat cornflakes with milk , hot chocolate or fruit juice . Adults prefer to eat toast with butter or jam , egg and some vegetables , and they like to drink coffee and orange juice .

If you want to have traditional Japanese breakfast you can go to Japanese inn , they will serve very complete traditional breakfast for you , and the western style hotels or restaurants they will offer mix of Western and Japanese style , they are both different with Taiwanese Breakfast .
